Playing with Determination

We go to the park all the time. I like to read while the kids play or I like to get a little workout pushing them on the swings (seriously a pretty good workout). It seems like we are all a little happier and a little less restless when we spend some time out of the house.
Here's Whit with her super cute cousin, Jaxson. They are only two days apart and would probably be best buds if we lived closer.

Here's Jason accosting me. There was a more normal picture with us both facing the camera but this is so Us.
Whitney was chasing two older girls (one was her cousin Brittany, 9) and she never got frustrated that she wasn't catching them. She just kept on trying and with determination. What a cool personality trait! Dang cool little girl.
Maybe Haylee would sleep in a swing if she could. I'm always trying to persuade her to do something else.
The tires on my stroller went flat and I feel like I've lost a part of me. Jason is gone from 7 AM to 10 PM with the car and I either have to get the girls up early or keep them up late to get it for any portion of the day. The stroller was my sanity. We are just getting a little more creative with how we get around until Jason actually has part of the day off to fix it.

Jason is gone from 7AM to 10PM with the car?! That really stinks! I'd go stir-crazy, so I see why you need some park time. ;) Hopefully the stroller can get fixed soon.

I went two years without a car while Derek worked a schedule pretty much the same as that. A daily walk to the park was my out too. Problem is now my kids always ask to leave the park within a few minutes of getting there. Who would have thought kids could get sick of the park?
