Go BYU! Boo Daylight Savings...

So it wasn't their best game, but BYU is on to the 3rd round winning their first game by 8 points. The first half was pretty pitiful but they picked it up in the second half.

I may not have expressed to everyone who knows me but I absolutely detest "springing forward" as in Daylight Savings!!! Dumb dumb dumb. All evidence of it saving energy is inconclusive or contradictory. I like light in the morning. I HATE waking up when it is dark and every Spring, I get teased as the sun starts coming up earlier. With the time change I get plunged back into darkness!

I have general animosity towards anything that wakes me up before I want to be awake and when I actually have to use my alarm clock, I want to throw it against the wall.

Ahhh! Done with the rant. I think I must educate myself and do something about this.

On to another topic: my feet pronate when I run and it hurts my knees. I got new running shoes about a year ago and they were better but my knees have started to hurt again in the last month. Does the support decrease over time? Do I really have to get new running shoes?

That's all.

You're supposed to get new running shoes every 300-400 miles... I need new ones bad!!

Ummm, yeah! I pronate bad too. You may also want to make sure you have good support of all your foot arches. This usually means you need an insert, like Super Feet, and then you may need to modify it by adding a support under the ball of your feet. If you pull the regular sole out of your shoes and there is a worn spot in the middle of the ball of your feet, kind of a tear drop shape, then you could benefit from the additional modification.

I mean Superfeet insoles, but I think there are cheaper options that are probably just as good.

Every year I buy the same shoe. They are called Nike Zoo Triax. They are specially designed for people who over pronate and they work really well. But if your shoes aren't worn out just buy new insoles.
