Yay!! Sugar Free

At least mostly sugar free... I made it a week. I wasn't super strict, but I didn't have any straight up desserts. I still ate yogurt and syrup and condiments with sugar in them, I just avoided the bag of cookies in the corner, the fruit snacks, the ice cream... I'm happy that I made it and as a reward, I dropped a few pounds! I feel good, but what I've heard is after cutting back like I have, I'll feel it when I do eat a dessert and maybe it will help me realize how much sugar affects me. Anyway, I'm going to go for another week and we'll see how I'm feeling after that.

wow! way to be strong! my mom cuts out sugar and she has gotten to teh point where she notices when she DOES eat sugar.. she can tell the difference in her body and her attitude. crazy

I am so AMAZED by you--great job! I have always wanted to try that, but I'm way too weak =). I'll be interested to see how you feel when you do add it back in--maybe I can learn from you.

Geez, I seriously can't make it through one day without sugar, especially chocolate. You've inspired me to maybe try one day...or at least one hour without giving in. :)

Wow! That's so awesome Amanda! I think I might have to try that as well! Not gonna lie, I'm really into the whole candy/cereal situation right now.. LOL (Thanks pregnancy ;o) So are you doing just sugar or like the whole carb/bread thing too?? Let me know, I think I really want to do this with you!!! :o)
