Hair... the bain of my existence...

So I love having my hair blond, but it is so expensive! Not only do I pay for it when I get it done but I pay again about six weeks later when I have terrible roots (mourn every morning as I try not to see that dark hair creeping back in until I finally break and get it done again). I can't justify the cash it takes but I really don't like my hair brown and all one color. It's all flat and limp and uncooperative with no texture or depth. Now it is summer time and I'm again faced with the temptation to blond up my hair. Should I do it and suffer the consequences? Should I just embrace the boringness of my regular hair color until the magical day when I have enough rolling in that we can still eat even though I get my hair done on a regular basis? I think every year since I was 13, I've given in to the blond in me. Does anyone have a solution?

Oh I totally agree! I hate paying an arm and a leg to get my hair colored. But I love having it blonde. I swap hair coloring from my sister in law for babysitting her little boy. Find a friend with a license and see if you can do a trade off.
Also I definitely think you guys should come to Utah. We have passes to the zoo, the children's museum and Thanksgiving point. We can get you in for free.

I have this SAME problem!! Time and money!!!...Ive found it easiest if i go to Sallys and buy the soultion and cap for about $8 bucks and have Steve pull my hair out but just in loops to get the roots and I can do it when every and its totally cheap. I know they say the cap doesnt get as close but Ive had the foil done and its been the same...most of the time. Good luck woman!
