I didn't think I had any good pictures to share but when I got my camera hooked up to the computer, surprise!
Whitney walked to the park which is a mile and a half away from our house and then played for an hour! Needless to say, she had to be in the stroller on the way home cause she was out. Haylee, who is way too big for the Baby Bjorn, had to endure it for most of the return walk. I needed a nap after all that but getting out of the house made 'no sugar' easier that day.
Love babies in sunglasses. That's always picture worthy.
I love this picture. I got it on St. Patrick's Day cause I have a page in her scrapbook with lots of shamrocks.
I don't know if everyone's kids do this, but my kids eat until they are exhausted. Here's Haylee after lunch on Sunday. She just crashed. Once when Whitney was a baby, she was eating peas (I kind of get how that can be exhausting for a little baby) and she fell asleep with one pea left on her tray. Adorable!
Jason picked up a cupboard at a garage sale while we lived in Las Vegas. It's one of those made of plywood with that plastic stuff on it that looks like wood... Anyway, mom and I painted it. I would never take on a project like this without mom. I just have no idea how to do it and that kind of thing freaks me out. This shelf was a Whitney and mommy special! She chose which stencils and where to put them. She chose what color and even put a hand print on there and I just coached. It was fun.
We did one crazy layer under the top white layer (which was crackle paint). we covered the whole thing with brown and I put broad brush strokes of pink, blue and green all over. Mom did some stencils and darked the details on the door. I should have taken a picture then. We also put a new knob on the door and I put feet in the front so it won't lean forward. I was really proud of myself for going to the hardware store and finding them myself and then going home and putting them on myself. I feel all empowered and maybe I can do these kind of things on my own.

Great job! We have a cupboard very similar to that one in the girls room that we found at DI. I had no hand in making it look nice (I let Chris do all the work) so I'm very impressed--it looks great and I love Whitney's handprint =).

Cute, cute, cute! I've said it before, but you very creative. Remember when we scrapbooked together and I sat there for like an hour until I gave up because I couldn't make even one page look cute. Then I look over and you had three adorable pages done in like minutes. You can just whoop up cute projects like they're nothing. I have to think about how I'm going to do it for weeks, then spend another few weeks working on it, then probably another few weeks perfecting it. You don't give yourself enough credit!!!!
