No news yet... and a tribute to my hubby.

We went to the doctor on Wednesday and she checked to see if I have "progressed"... Turns out that I'm dilated to a 3.5 and 90% effaced and she was saying things like, "I'm on call on Saturday so that would be a good day to go to the hospital." Yeah, it's Sunday afternoon and nothin'! But I did finish teaching and my mom comes home tomorrow and I'd really like to have her here. I don't feel terrible, I'm just sick of waiting and re-cleaning the house. Here's my current look... I needed at least one picture of me prego for the scrapbook.


My incredible husband has put Whitney down for a nap, on Father's Day so I have a minute to myself. I really am so lucky that he is such a great dad. I think the best part of it is that he really enjoys Whitney. He doesn't do things grudgingly just because I ask him to. He genuinely enjoys playing with her and taking care of her. I love watching them together and know that he will always put our kids high on his priority list.

Not only is he a fabulous dadd-ya (as Whitney calls him) but he is a great husband. These last few weeks, he has been rubbing my feet and helping me without prompt or complaint. He has been working hard both at home and on the road and he has an amazing ability to level my mood swings cause they are in full motion right now. He listens and tries to understand as best he can and he just loves me! Happy Fathers' Day, Jason!
