Twilight Tour

We are still waiting for Whitney's glasses to come. Hopefully we will get them in the next few days! I'm excited for Whitney to be able to see. Since I have a minute this Mother's Day I'm going to post these pictures. Jason has been great today about letting me do whatever I want to do! We spent two days touring Twilight movie spots while my sister's family was here. It was so much fun!
We started out driving up to St. Helens. It's only about an hour away from Washougal and quite a few things were filmed there.

Our first stop was at this dress shop. They bought a bunch of dresses for the movie here but it wasn't actually in the movie. It was a great shop with such cute stuff. My sister bought a purse made of pink seat belts! I saw it first but my funding is a little low for such purchases.

We were just walking by when my hephew spotted the alley way! We were so excited we ran right up it. Luckily the sun was shining so it wasn't scary.

The book shop was just up from the alley. I think it is actually someone's house. I can't remember now.

The parking lot where Edward drives up to save Bella from the bad guys was right by the alley too... I think my family is so cute in all these pictures!

This is where they filmed the girls shopping for dresses in the movie. It's actually a beauty shop...

We didn't have the address for Bella's house so it took us forever to find it. When we did, we felt we could leave St. Helens fulfilled.

Here's the high school parking lot. It is actually at Kalama High school which is pretty close to my home town too.

Here's a great replay of Edward saving Bella from the van. We headed home and watched the film to wrap up the first day.

We found this field where they filmed the baseball scenes online and had to drive out to it on the second day.

My niece and nephew were acting out the scene where Emmett and Edward slam into each other trying to catch the ball. It was hilarious.

We think they filmed the stunt doubles for Bella and Edward up in these trees. It was right by the baseball field.

Here come the "bad" vampires!!! Some look more bad than others.

The vampires face off!! Yeah, we're pretty good actors and I'm sure the pregnant vampires all feel represented now...

The last stop was the restaurant where they filmed the prom...
It was so fun and now every time we watch the movie we geek out about having actually been in the same places. If you want to do the tour, you can come and stay with me!
